(jsbereiders) zijn naar Nederland getrokken omdat zij na de
eerste wereldoorlog een betere en veilige toekomst wilden opbouwen.
Nederland was voor velen een land om naar toe te trekken. Dat
juist jij koos voor een plek in Italie die vele emigranten heeft
voort gebracht is geen toeval. Wij hopen dat jij een voorbeeld
mag zijn voor al dat gene die in staat zijn om de tolerantie
te bevorderen.Het is voor mij een hele eer dat jij voor die
plek gekozen hebt die voor vele Italianen de laatste plek is

Dear readers, Thank you very much for putting
some pictures of Pim Fortuyn's house and final resting place
on internet. This man was and will allways be very special for
us and we miss him dearly. Today (19th may 2002) we went to
visit his grave in Driehuis, but there was a two hour waiting
row of people, so we with our three small children from a town
called Breda left our flowers and returned home and will bring
him a visit sometime later this month. As you may have heared,
Pim Fortuyn has won the elections and we wish and hope that
somehow and somewhere he has been part of his winning day, May
15th 2002! He would have been our new Minister-president. We
hope to visit your town sometime later this year or next year.

Pimsalabim!!!! Dat klinkt leuk zou je gezegd
hebben, van mij mag het. Ik weet hoe je dan kijkt je glundert
dan van top tot teen. Iedere benadering liet je toe, je dacht
ik zie wel hoe het gaat lopen ik ben benieuwd, wat kan me gebeuren.
Veel interviews heb ik van je gezien, weet wel ik heb er van
genoten je oprechtheid en je zuiverheid probeerde je reikelijk
uit te dragen. Ik heb je dan ook leren kennen van de televisie,
en vroeg me wel eens af krijg je nou nooit eens last van je
voeten, want je kon zo lekker overal tegen aan schoppen. Beste
Pim jij kon dat en nog wel met gepaste taal voor alles en allemaal,
we konden je begrijpen. Ik dacht als er een campagne in de buurt
komt dan zal ik ook eens gaan want ik luisterde heel goed naar
jou en dat wilde ik ook een keer LIVE van je mee maken. Weet
je nog in dat programma dat ze vroegen als je de hemelpoort
open zou doen en er stond daar een vrouw hoe zou je daar op
reageren, o wat leuk zij je toen en je begon zowaar een gesprek
met haar, het was kostelijk om naar je kijken en te luisteren.
Heel knap ben je in je taal gebruik en de dingen zoals je ze
ziet en ze aan ons uitlegt, maar waar maken dat is iets anders,
ik kan het in ieder geval proberen was je stellige overtuiging.
Bruisend energiek dat straalde je altijd uit, moet u luisteren
ik ga der voor hoort u het! Erg goed vond ik jou als je echt
onheus werd behandeld, je zei gewoon einde verhaal u kunt wel
gaan ga maar fietsen punt. Je genoot van het leven dat konden
wij aan je zien, ik dacht het kan dus wel in deze tijd maar
je hebt er ook veel voor moeten doen. Menigmaal legde je uit
dat zelfwerkzaamheid niet uit de lucht komt waaien het gaat
dus niet van zelf. Er moet een heleboel veranderen in dit land
daar wilde je graag het voortouw in nemen, alleen je wist nog
niet precies hoeveel mensen je zouden steunen en op je wilde
stemmen, overtuigend liet je weten dat komt wel goed U ZULT
HET ZIEN. Wat ik zo vreemd vond dat ze vergelijkingen gingen
maken met figuren uit andere landen je kon dan erg kwaad worden,
je zei dan u let niet op, we zijn hier in Nederland niks mee
te maken duidelijk toch. Zo kan ik nog wel een boek door gaan
maar dat laten we maar aan jou over Pim. Wat jammer nou Pim
je zal deze klus niet kunnen afmaken, ja dan moet ik maar wat
anders gaan doen zou je gezegd hebben. In een van je laatste
film interviews in je geliefde huis in Italië het was een pracht
om te zien, daar kwam je op adem in dat kleine dorpje even weg
uit die heksen ketel. Maar Pim wat we toen nog niet wisten dat
je er nooit meer zou ademen dat is niet te bevatten ongelofelijk
onwezenlijk. Je zal er wel terug keren maar niet meer ademen
je zal daar altijd zijn op je geliefde plek en waardig zullen
we allemaal afscheid van jou nemen. Je bent een persoonlijkheid
en dat zal je altijd blijven je leeft voort in ons hoofd en
in ons hart. Bedenk wel 4 5 en 6 mei, je zult er altijd bij
zijn en daar gaan wij nu voor bedankt Pim! O ja en deze vergeten
we niet Pim LIEFDE WAARHEID EN VERTROUWEN.

(Enschede). Now, a month later, our pain and hurt is still going
on-and-on. We've lost the most democratic, loveble and passionated
friend we could ever have. Now we have to go on, in thankfull

A country living under a thick grey blanket silenced
by political correctness hoping that someday, someone will be
so brave to stand up for them. And there was Pim Fortuyn. He
took our hand and he told us that his shoulders would be strong
enough to carry all of us. He broke the silence, broke the taboes
by saying what people thought for many years. Everybody started
talking about politics again in every class of our population
from young (7 year olds) to old. People who didn't vote for
30/40 years were ready for May 15, to help our Pim make The
Netherlands a better place for everyone. This frightened a lot
of people. For all sorts of reasons "they" thought Pim was a
mayor threat. Often because they didn't know what kind of man
he was. He always wanted a honest debate. If your statements
were so convincing he would have problably changed his mind
about it. And everybody was welcome in his home, always open
for a talk, interviews, photos. On May 6, a newspaper article
told us that he would become the biggest political party in
The Netherlands. Narrow minded people thought that it was time
to pull back the thick grey blanket. On May 6 you took away
our ray of light, our last hope. The darkness is back, the silence
isn't.I hope you can forgive me that i cannot be there to pay
my last respects to you, my mr. President. It comforts me that
you rest in a peaceful place. I am so sorry what people did
to you. Tonight (20/7/2002) i will be in Provesano in spirit.
I will never forget you.

How strange that Pim isn't in Holland anymore.
I watched the funeral, it is beautiful, his own mausoleum is
too. I wish his family and friends all the best, and that they
finally may start mourning. Thank you for sharing so much with
the dutch people, I appreciate that I could see and hear so
much of all, but now it's your turn. As Marten said: the show
is over. The country needed Mr. Fortuyn to change. The politicians
sleep on, after being shaken up by Mr. Fortuyn, God, we needed
him so badly... when I read his books I can only say I agree.

Lieve Pim, Eindelijk ben je dan aangekomen op
jouw plekje, waar je zo graag vertoefde om je hoofd leeg te
maken, en vervolgens weer naar Nederland te komen.En dan had
je weer zin an!! En nu kom je nooit meer!!! maar ik heb er vrede
mee, want ik weet dat jij, nu je rust kan vinden in Provesano
wat voor jou een belangrijke plek was. Lieve Pim, je bent voor
ons gezin een groot gemis, we kenden je niet persoonlijk, maar
het voelde wel zo!!!! We hebben op een waardige manier afscheid
van jou kunnen nemen, Je hebt een presidentiële uitgeleide gekregen,
die je zo verdiende, want Pim, JIJ was voor ons de president

Wie ben ik als samen met mij feitelijk heel Nederland
geschokt is en onvoorstelbaar veel mensen rouwen om het verlies
van Pim Fortuyn. Zaterdag 4 mei sprak ik hem nog en bevestigde
hij nogmaals mijn indruk van een bevlogen, eerlijk en beslist
oprecht mens met visionaire ideeën. Een mens die in zijn eentje
in staat was om politieke en maatschappelijke feiten bespreekbaar
te maken, die door velen het liefst verzwegen werden. Maandag
6 mei werd Pim op een afschuwelijke manier vermoord. Naast mij
vraagt menigeen zich af wie uiteindelijk allemaal medeschuldig
zijn aan deze zinloze moord. Pim Fortuyn was niet extreem-rechts,
integendeel zelfs, hij was geen racist, geen populist maar een
emotioneel bewogen hoogst intelligent mens die velen nieuwe
richtingen wees en daarmee hoop gaf. De Nederlandse democratie
is met zijn heengaan veranderd. Nederland rouwt massaal en verliest
in hem een uniek mens, die voor iedereen die hem persoonlijk
gekend heeft een onuitwisbare indruk achterlaat. Dat hij in
Provesano di San Giorgio della Richinvelda moge rusten in vrede.
In de geschiedschrijving zal hij als legende eeuwig voortleven.
Laten we hem gedenken met onderstaande tekst:
Wie een doel heeft, vindt ook de weg
Eens zul je beginnen om deze weg lief te hebben,
die eindeloze straat, het stenen pad,
het stof, de dagelijkse last.
Eens zul je herkennen dat deze weg jouw weg is,
eenmalig, niet inwisselbaar en dat niemand anders
deze weg voor jou kan gaan. Je zult struikelen en vallen, maar
de kracht vinden om weer op te staan.
Je zult omwegen en dwaalsporen bewandelen
maat steeds dichter bij jezelf komen.
Eens zul je beginnen om die weg lief te hebben,
al heb je dan bijna je doel bereikt.

to the Dutch visitors interested in music
I was impressed by the flow of Dutch people coming
to our place and by the messages posted on this site.
The Associazione Musicale "Bertrando di Aquileia" of San Giorgio
della Richinvelda wishes, through myself, inform the Dutch persons
interested in music about the activities of the association.
We are open to share cultural experiences and information with
similar Dutch schools or associations. One of our former Music
School students is perfecting his instrument study in Utrecht,
so we have already established a contact between our two musical
cultures.
