The photos are taken with a Lomo Kompakt Automat.
I specifically use the Lomo because of the unique lens and its unpredictable shutter-speed. The combination of the two works well with low-light situations, creating an abstract and often random element to the picture taking process.
I am interested in the photograph as an art to itself, rather than the pure act of recording an image.
